Religion plays a vital role in shaping the behaviors, values, and beliefs of different
individuals within a community, country, or continent. The action of explores, traders, and
missionaries who spread their routes to the north and south of America led to widespread
different religions amongst the natives in America. The European ministers fixed their cultural
values with the natives' culture, which conquered the region. The interaction between
individuals from different religious backgrounds led to widespread spiritual practices. 1 The book
‘Religion in America’ broadens the scope of the historical background of the religious practices
amongst the natives in the USA. This paper explores and reviews chapters 14 and 15 of the book
and highlights the different occasions during the spread of religion in America.
Chapter 14 presents a broader scope of the events during the transitional years. During
World War 1 an end to the era of American Protestantism entered the country during the
nineteenth century. Financial support for these churches was very adverse during this century
due to the high numbers of crowds. The generation opened opportunities for the churches to
develop confidence in themselves to turn the world into Christhood. 2 Nevertheless, the author
states that ethuniaciasicim had already started to develop in these churches, which was very
contagious to the social support structures in the societies. The enrollment in the church
programs slowly reduced over the decades, which was a clear indication that a transition was
about to take place within the community.

The fate of the protestant churches was reflected by the interchurch movements
developed within the American societies. The activities occurred during the early 19s, where the
churches converged and worshipped together with a common objective to bring about the values
of Christianity to the world. 3 The basis of the development of the protestant was evangelism for
all the individuals within the American societies. Cardigan elucidates the significant cooperation
that occurred amongst the protestant churches to address the needs of the individuals locally and
abroad. According to the author, the churches developed responsibilities that were to utilize to
secure the funds for addressing the needs of the individuals and carry out the plans for the
churches.
John explains that every denomination had specific financial goals that were supposed to
be achieved to coordinate the activities put in place by the churches. The church's mission board
had a hard time coordinating the financial services, which resulted in bad debts. Therefore, the
interchurch movements faced failures that would otherwise be resolved in the 1920-1922
economic recession. 4 Amongst the needs that were elucidated in this chapter were the risks of
prospects of the needs of the households and the needs of the steelworkers in the market. The
efforts were to deliver them from the work hours that were beyond doubt not appropriate for
their personal lives. 5 The objective of the protestant churches was to win the wealthy citizens in

the American societies to create a balance between. The author explains that the shifting moods
of the American people were increasingly evident in the communities, which prompted the
failure of the protestant movements.
Acculturation opened rooms for more consequences in the protestant movements, which
broke out and opened spaces for conflicts in the management board. The issues brought up
during the war were based on a conflict of interests that did not reflect on the movement's
objectives. 6 Furthermore, the break of Protestantism was also accelerated by the intramural
conflicts among the liberals and the modernists. The effort was based on the inheritance of the
Christian faith and adopting it into the new trend in society. The impending conflicts of interests
resulted in the theological break of protestant churches into the development of other religions
such as Islamic, Bud
