Reasons for Pursuing a Degree in Business
I believe business has more impact on our world than any other academic field because of
how central it has become to our daily lives. Since I have always been interested in business, that
is the field I want to pursue further education in. While for some, the motivation to engage in
business comes down to simple financial considerations, it is about much more than that for me.
The corporate world's management and structure fascinate me, and I want to know more about
them. The IFD program and my other studies have provided me with a solid grounding in
business and the tools to handle a broad range of challenges successfully. The knowledge and
skills I've gained in this course have prepared me to succeed in various business-related fields,
including marketing, accounting, business strategy, and organizational behavior. My father, a
successful businessman, is one of the many motivating factors in my pursuit of advanced
business education. I now have a more accurate understanding of how businesses function. My
primary areas of interest are business operations, human resource management, and financial
reporting. Many business books have piqued my interest. Bob Lawrence's "Guide to College
Resource and Financial Management," Joe Girard's "How to Sell Yourself," and Brian Tracy's
"The Art of the Deal" are three books that have greatly aided my grasp of business ideas. I agree
with him wholeheartedly on one of his key ideas, which is that a great company is more than just
producing money.

There is a significant difference between the theoretical study of business management
and its actual application in the real world. I have completed this theoretical understudy through
my current profession as a part-time salesman at a local business. A strong feeling of community
has allowed me to develop as a leader, master several sales strategies, and solidify my reputation
as a trustworthy sales professional. Essential packs of abilities I am producing from day-to-day
business life include creative thinking, problem-solving, and authentic leadership. After joining
this small firm and taking on various management responsibilities, I gained a newfound zeal for
and curiosity about the business world. When I was promoted to managing director, I realized I
had a knack for leading people. I want to continue my business education to learn more about the
administration and accounting of businesses and their finances. My ICT training was an integral
element of my IFD curriculum and helped me hone my business acumen. I'm excited about the
intellectual stimulation that a major in Business promises to provide. I am goal-oriented and
eager to seize every chance that presents itself.
One of my goals is to make my mark in the corporate world as a leader who promotes an
environment of service rather than exploitation. Self-interest, which seems to dictate human
conduct, is suddenly identical not with selfishness but with altruism if the acts from which
people get the greatest joy are those of generosity. The notion of altering people's very
temperament, of helping them discover pleasure while simultaneously becoming a force for good
in a world that sorely needs it, keeps me going. At the same time, I try to learn the fundamentals
of business and comprehend supply and demand graphs. A business education is the only way to
pursue such a worthy goal, in my opinion. In addition, I hope that by being kind and professional
in my business career, I would encourage many others, especially my juniors, to study business
in the future.
